It feels great when you have a new blog or site, and readership starts to pick up. Same if you have a new service and you get more and more clients each day. However, sometimes you have growing pains. Your server’s sometimes down. You sometimes get software bugs.

I guess that’s part of growing up. It’s like waking up one day and discovering your voice is breaking out, or you suddenly get a ton of zits on your face. It’s not pleasant, but it’s part of growing up.

Running Free WordPress themes is like that. From conception to execution the Free WordPress themes base code was custom-made. So you can imagine the work put behind the site. It’s not just one of those generic scripts you can download for free and slap on to your web server. As tight as we want the code to be, there’s bound to be bugs somewhere.

So I do get several emails informing me of errors here and there, and of bugs here and there. Sometimes it’s in the search queries, sometimes in the downloads, sometimes even in the site layout itself.

Well, speaking of freely-downloaded scripts, actually one part of Free WordPress themes was taken from free scripts, and that is the theme preview part. When you click View Demo on a demo-enabled theme, you are directed to a live WordPress installation with a theme preview plugin.

And lo and behold, even that one has turned out to have some problems, too. Previews are not working at this time.

So please bear with us folks, as we fix things. We’re breaking out with zits and our voice is croaking these days.
